A selection of comments from our clients who are pleased with our training methods:

Hi David
Just a note to let you know I have invested in some training aids; the long training lead, balls with ropes and some treats.I had a great experience today with the dogs. I walked them separatley, Ralla was fine she just likes to chase and retrieve the ball. King had my full attention and I his. We played tug (I won). I kept the long lead on him and played with the balls on ropes swapping them regularly (as soon as he let go off the one he had I praised him and we played with a different one).

We were so busy and having fun that neither of us noticed another dog walking on to the field. It was walking in our direction so I gently took his lead and lead him away from it. Then continued our game. Two minutes later a border collie came over (I didnt even know it was on the field), there was no fuss, it had a quick sniff and off it went. Needless to say I was over the moon with King, as all he was interested in was me and our game!.... It made my day!

Thank you for the training and information you have given King and I. We our both much happier and closer from it. I appreciate your best advice but he is well loved and I will put in the work with him (....some how), I love him lots and I'm sure the workload will ease when my husband gets back.

I would like to do more work with you but it probably wont be for a month now as I have commitments in the next 2 weeks then it is the school holidays. I will be in touch again.

Thank you again.

Yvonne

"We have a different dog. He is happy playful and mostly obedient. Still being strict with him. Out for walks on long lead,. He doesnt pull and stays at heel. Still wont always come back despite being on lead but dont have to do too much persuading. Has stopped growling but can be grumpy still. Lets you play with him far more and doesnt hide under floor boards or walk out of a room."

Our dog is a lovely boy but can be very stubborn and wilful. The initial assessment you made (house visit) was very astute and the subtle changes we made have made a huge difference to all of us within 2 days! The training on your land has been fantastic Max is really showing improvement and I am too as his owner! It is the best thing we could have signed up for.

I just wanted to write and let you know how pleased we are with the one-to-one training you gave to Paddy. As you know, she is very lively with a mind of her own and although we took her to puppy and dog training classes, she quickly got bored and didnt always pay attention. The one-to-one situation with you was exactly what she needed, with plenty of variety to keep her motivated. Your own personal blend of discipline with kindness quickly made her a willing pupil, but never dented her spirit.

"Our strong, rescue mastiff cross always pulled towards other dogs when on the lead and was aggressive towards pretty much all dogs that approached her. Why, we'll never know, but we wanted to manage her pulling and aggression. David's common sense advice, experience and highly practical approach and fun training methods made us feel much more at ease with our dog. In fact, it made us appreciate our dog more and learn to relax with her. But we also re-learned the most valuable basics of being our dog's leader. The training was thoroughly enjoyable and educational and far from a chore. Our dog was even excited upon arriving for the second training session, which says it all.
So, a picture speaks a thousand words and hence this is our Ella with one of two dogs we had visiting our house for a weekend just a week after training finished. We felt confident to have the dogs visit because of OUR training and it all worked out fine."

Adrian and Sinead.
